D1013 Bogie Costings Submitted

A specialist contractor has now provided costings to undertake the bulk of the overhaul for the bogie sets, (in addition to costings already obtained for re-tyring). Including re-tyring, wheelset overhaul and manufacture of new springs, the estimated costs are £325k per bogie, so a total project value of £650k, including contingencies.
