Work starts on “Projects Requirements Document” to outline detailed work for the bogie overhaul which would be broken down into basic individual components within the overhaul.
Against each component would be cross-referenced to the relevant BR or OEM paperwork for the overhaul or repair of components.
Once completed, the WLA would be able to go out to tender in order to draw up a budget for the HLF application.
This would have to be within the parameters laid out in RIS 4472 and in conjunction with the WLA’s chosen Assessment Body (AsBo).
